“Over 100ft of heavy duty dock with DeckWave decking that’s 6 yrs old and looks as good today as when it was new. It is strong and sturdy and I don’y worry about storms damaging it as it sits higher off the water than most docks & with the unique design stability is assured. The DeckWave decking is easy to maintain and most importantly seagulls do not like it. I’ve had the wooden docks with metal support legs that have fallen apart in Lake Simcoe storms and would strongly recommend DockinaBox to anyone. It’s not the cheapest dock available but you certainly get value for the money.”

“Exceptional experience and support.
I bought a used 1250 lift to support a 10’ picklefork boat that I bought for my grandkids. I wanted to support the boat inside the sponsons and didn’t know if this could be done. After consulting with Dan he was able to engineer brackets that lifted the boat exactly the way I had requested!!
When I went to pick up the brackets I made a last minute decision to purchase a side rail step for safe and easy access for the kids. I think the fella at the desk was Kevin, (I apologize if I’m not correct). He was able to have one manufactured for me in 20 minutes…while I waited!! This was really appreciated as the cottage is quite a distance away.
I was able to surprise my grandkids BECAUSE this company, and its team produce quality products with amazing service. Fantastic experience and highly recommended.”

“Our relationship with Dock in a Box began about 7 years ago. Our initial investment was a T style dock and it was very easy to install and remove. We moved to a deeper section of the lake and have added more sections of dock, a fabulous ladder, bumpers (wonderful), corner bumpers and cleats. All of the highest quality. They truly have an exceptional product! We recently purchased a boat lift and Dock in a Box referred us to Gagnon Renewable Resources for the install. This company is fully knowledgeable about the product and the installation couldn’t have been smoother. They were professional, had great communication, excelled in customer service as well as providing some great suggestions for other Dock in the Box products. And the boat-lift? A dream!!! “Recently purchased the Super Duty Modular (4 – 6×10 panels) for a dock system on Georgian Bay. Kevin in sales along with Dan were extremely helpful in advising on the most appropriate configuration for the shoreline situation – we worked on several options. Georgian Bay can produce some unforgiving storms and rough water. Appreciated all the assistance received when picking up the dock, from loading it on the trailer to explaining the various pieces and ensuring the order was complete. We assembled the dock on land ourselves…..very impressed with the design, sturdiness and ease of assembly. Did make a few calls to their technical support line and they were very helpful and patient with the inquiries. Love the fact that you can expand easily or change the configuration down the road. Appreciated the many tips Dan provided on proper assembly and winter storage, as well as assembly tricks to make the parts slide into place easier. The dock has been in the water for over a month now, and so far, so good…. Very pleased with its performance in the rougher waters. The deck weave surface allows the high waves to easily pass through and it is really nice to walk on, plus it’s easy on the dog’s paws too. Great purchase.

Our thanks to Dan for explaining how the guides not only position the boat precisely, but they also act as a stable step from the boat to our dock. The wireless feature helps us position the boat on the bunks before we step out. We are the envy of the lake.”

They had our dock built and ready within a month. It’s awesome, very strong and so much better than our previous wooden dock. We didn’t really expect guests to pay much attention, but everyone that came over last summer commented on the new dock and how much nicer it was.

“We bought the premium ST dock ladder and I can honestly say it is the best ladder I have ever used. The small platform above the water is great for sitting with your legs in the water or jumping off. I love that we pull it out of the water on the pivot to prevent algae growth, no more slimy ladders!!! This was a great purchase. I highly recommend. It is worth the wait if they are back ordered!!!”

“We visited Dock-in-a-Box last fall (2019) when Don and the team helped us select the components for our cottage location, delivery was agreed for this spring (2020) and despite Covid-19 it was all ready when we were. The installation proved very straightforward with 5 fixed sections, plus a corner, and 2 floating ones. The quality of the fabrications and components is exceptional and we had no problems installing it. We opted for the powder coating, a significant extra cost, but it certainly looks great now that it is out there. The family are all raving about the 5-step swim ladder which is absolutely a great design. We looked at several possible systems and suppliers for a dock to replace our old broken wooden one and are very pleased that we went with Dock-in-a-Box and happy to recommend them.

“DockinaBox has been a Canadian business success story for decades now. There is a reason for that. Their product and the service of Dan and Rita are excellent.

I stand by my original 1 star rating for poor email communication. But they had “technical difficulties”. Going forward in this digital era and especially during covid, this must be improved.

That said, I visited Dock in a Box and found Dan’s integrity, pride in product, willingness to explain and the knowledge that he has to be exemplary. I made my purchase at Dock in a Box. They deserve a 5 star rating.

Don’t buy a dock or any accessory without first checking out Dock in a Box…. though perhaps best by phone or better yet, drop in.”

“We purchased a 4’x14′ pipe dock, Heavy Duty, for water access into Georgian Bay. One end attached to rock step at shore with shore mounting brackets, other end supported in water by the pipe legs. Also purchased the Premium STl Ladder. Haven’t done final attachment of ladder yet, but it is sturdy as a rock. They spent a long time on the phone with me discussing exactly how many steps my ladder should be as we were in the dark about a few things. Very knowledgeable.”

“Recently purchased 2 sections of dock system ( 6′ X10′) Heavy Duty for Lake Simcoe. Although I did my homework on dock providers, Dock in a Box trumped them all in terms of quality and desing. Owner of company came to the back when loading up and Quality ensured all related parts were accurate and even adjusted one of the panels on site to ensure end cap fitted. It took my friend and I about 1 hour to assemble and install in the lake. Light as a feather, very strong and looks great. Tired of lugging soaked rotted pressure treated docks…try dock in a Box.
