Unlike the dock floats that are out there, ECO Dock Float design incorporates atmospheric venting to reduce condensation build up that occurs with temperature fluctuations by means of GORE Technology.
The condensation that collects inside other traditional floats filled with Styrofoam expands when freezing during the winter season; crushes the Styrofoam and leaves larger pockets for more condensation to fill. This will, over time, result in a loss of buoyancy and inevitably impact the overall life expectancy of your dock floats, resulting in your dock sitting lower in the water each passing year.
